This is a 10" subwoofer recommended for sealed enclosures, with a minimum of .7 cubic feet of airspace. It features a single voice coil, and a peak power rating of 700W.

This sub hits hard in my Miata. I have a 1993 with a soft top, and the box was custom made. From the side, it looks like a trapezoid, and it extends all the way across the deck behind the seats. The sub itself is downward firing, and I have it hooked up to a Rockford Fosgate amp pushing about 400W RMS. It really rounds out my system. It has a remote, so you can control the level of bass depending on the song you are listening to, and my Pioneer head unit allows for fine tuning things like frequency response and bass boost. The box does not rattle at all, as it would in a trunk-based enclosure, and the 10" provides the right amount of thump from Rap or Techno to Jazz or Country.

I'll hopefully report back after using the sub/amp combo for quite some time. Just driving around locally it's great, and it's a real head turner if you like your music crisp and loud.
