Black Metal Grill

Product arrived from Team Miata very promptly and in good condition. Instructions were very detailed concerning removal of front tie-down hooks, although these were unnecessary in my case. Actual grille installation details were quite adequate although, like other reviewers, I found the two OEM bolts recommended by Team Miata for grille attachnment to be too short. A quick trip to the hardware store for longer replacements easily fixed the problem. With longer bolts, installation was quick and easy.

The installed grille looks very nice, and appears to be adequately sturdy to protect radiator against most flying debris. There appear to be no signs of engine overheating since grille installation. All in all, a good product.

Radiator Grill Protector Model TM-350 Black Finish

The product arrived within 3 - 4 business days from West Coast to Pennsylvania. I was pleased with the quality of the product and the time from order to delivery.

I read all of the reviews in regards to Radiator Grills in advance. Removing the 2 10mm bolts was the easy part. Because the 10mm bolts are small in length, the process to install the grill became a more time consuming process because of the need to go find longer 10mm bolts and the proper size washers as a replacement. What should have taken me 5 minutes became a 2 hour project. The only complaint that I have is that Team Miata should charge $50 instead of $49 for the product and include in the kit 2 10mm bolts and washers to match the color of the grill which are longer than the original ones taken off of the car to make the process smoother, less stressful and a nicer looking finish. That way the bolts and washers will match the finish of the grill and your customers won't have to waste time trying to find something that should be included.

Powder Coated Metal Grille (Silver/Grey) with Black Vinyl surround. Installed in a '97 M-Edition with ABS. Arrived several days after order via priority mail tube in excellent condition.Clear instructions in a general sense, some specific issues required some mechanical knowledge.

1.)My car is equipped with ABS brakes. This means the windshield washer reservior is located behind the front fascia on the left hand side. This restricts access to the rear bolt of three on that tow hook. I was able to get a box end wrench on the bolt, but could not crack it, given the tight clearences involved. Fortunatly for me, my brother is an aircraft mechanic with alot of special tools. We managed (barely) to get a very shallow socket with an integrated universal joint on the bolt from underneath and over the top of the fluid reservior (14mm). 2.) The Hook(s) cannot be removed straight out the front and must be fed back, down, and through the grille opening. Again, the left side posed something of a problem. We managed to feed it back & down between the radiator and the filler hose for the windshield washer by deforming the hose. Be very carefull of the radiator, not to damage the fins. Check the hose for any perforations and leaks after this st! ep. Mine came through just fine.

Awesome looks! Really finishes the front of the car. Even without the grille, removing the "Baby Teeth" greatly enhances the look of the car. I do have two concerns, though. 1.) Cooling: I live in South Florida. This item does restrict airflow somewhat, but I have had no problems so far. I'm watching the temp. carefully. 2.) Corrosion: This is a concern because of my location. I'll repost if this thing does not prove durable.

Black powder coated grill protector

Worked and installed pretty much as advertised

Simple installation once I figured out to leave the installation bolts in place and just simply loose. Impossible to get bolts started with grill in place. Good fit and finish. Product was not as sturdy as I expected but looks very good.
