Flyin' Miata Bulkhead Brace

Tubular stainless steel bulkhead brace with a round mounting plate on each end. Unit is powder coated in black and mounts between the shoulder belt towers.

Product seems well made and is very easy to mount. It uses the existing "screws" that have the tonneau cover clip as one mounting screw and then you drill a hole for the other mounting screw.

Brace does seem to add a bit more stiffness even above and beyond that which is provided by my roll bar. Installation is very easy, and the instructions while short, are very clear and easy to follow. Once installed the bar actually looks pretty good. I had to remove the factory brace when I installed my "monster" roll/style bar. While the roll bar is a 4 point mount, I felt that it did not provide the appropriate level I was seeking. Adding the bulkhead brace made up the difference.

Difficult to remove without leaving damage
