A black nylon bag that fits between the folded down convertible top and in my case, the factory windblocker. Has two velcro loops on the side to hold it in place during Miata exercise. Neat idea for that unused space.

Nicely made product and a great idea. You will be amazed at all of the stuff you can fit in this thing. Great for hiding stuff away from prying eyes or road trips. It will definitely come in handy during my trip to the dragon in June.

As with everything I have ordered from GoMiata, it is a great product and their customer service is A+. Easy to tell when you are talking to other enthusiasts.

GoMiata Deck Bag

Canvas bag designed to fit on the back deck of the Miata.

The deck bag is a fantastic concept. It holds quite a lot and fits well in the rear deck of my Miata. I have a Hard Dog roll bar and it fits nicely with it. However, I used the bag last weekend for the first time and had very disappointing results. The bag was not fully loaded which is important since with that size bag, the weight could get significant if one were to load it with all the gear that the advertising says it can hold.

On the second use both handles ripped off the bag. I was not using the handles to lift the bag and the bag was not fully loaded (in fact I loaded the bag while it was in the car already). As weak as the side handles are, they would not hold the bag with any sort of bag movement due to spirited cornering or a sudden stop or impact. The side handles look like real handles that could be used to assist in lifting the bag out of the car. This is important to someone with a bad back who cannot bend over the car to lift out the bag using the two center straps. The design is seriously flawed. The handles cannot perform the function for which they were designed (i.e., tieing down the bag) or for lifting the bag (which they will be used for by most people). An improvement would be to reinforce the side handles or put reinforced smaller loops on the ends that could function as tie downs but be small enough as as not to be confused as handles.
