Ceramic coated 4-2-1 tuned exhaust header manufactured in South Africa

All in all, a fair PITA installation experience. And how does the header perform? Don't know because the car is still up on stands, but it sounds sweet in conjunction with the new Enthuza exhaust. Also, the ceramic coating seems bulletproof and the whole deal looks good. There's not even a heat mark where I used the propane torch. All in all I would recommend this product based on price but not on detail of design or workmanship. If the EGR nipple had been properly located and if the heat shield holes had been cleaned up (and, or, better bolts) this would have been a simple install. If you plan on saving some $$ by going with this header, plan on spending some quality time with your Miata getting it right.

Nice looking product that has some design and workmanship issues. The EGR line does not meet up to the header and you have to go through some conniptions to get things to fit. Not the straightforward install that a header should be. E-mail me for details.

Brospeed header

good looking product, makes slight horsepower gains. need quality control work. much better value than JR header.

well, header was installed at local Miata tech day. by experienced people. the header had a very good finish. the problem's incurred were that the o2 hole was not lined up properly w/ the threads and needed some grinding. the egr pipe from the engine had to be moved (which meant draining the radiator cuz the water pipe was in the way). the heat shield did not line up properly and needed some grinding to get third hole to line up. if your hell bent on getting a header, then i would still recommend this header because the work is worth the saving's above other headers. horsepower is really only felt at high rpm's or high speeds.

This item is a ceramic coated 4-2-1 header.

Installation was fairly simple. The only trouble I had was with the included heat shield. I had to make the three holes in the shield a little larger with my trusty Dremel and use a little larger washers.

Personally I feel that this is an excellent piece. The header seems to be very high quality. Even with the heat shield problem, I highly recommend this item. Oh yeah, it's also about $150 cheaper than the Jackson!!! That means a lot to me!!!

This is a very well made product. It is a 4-2-1 ceramic coated header.

The installation took aprox. 1 hour and was very easy. The product is very high quality and went on without a hitch

This piece didn't make any noticeable difference in the sound of the engine. I installed at the same time that I installed a Borla exhaust and noticed a significant improvement in power and throttle response on my 97 1.8.
