Looks great. Weld quality was top-notch; product makes for great eye candy, but on a car that sits at about 6"...hmmm.

Installed at the same time as a Racing Beat header, and the sound is simply obnoxious. Keeping the header, but will go back to stock cat-back to get rid of the drone, which appears as soon as the muffler gets up to temp and NEVER GOES AWAY. Had bought this cat-back based on reviews that said it didn't drone, but at least in conjunction with the RB header, it's intolerable.

I should have done more research, but my $$$$s are already gone. Just posted here to help someone else avoid the same mistake.

This is complete Stainless Steel Cat-Back exhaust system, including mid-pipe

This was a very easy installation, basically an easy bolt-on that took me about 30 minutes to install. I was surprised how high the quality of the pipe, muffler, and tip were when it arrived, polished stainless steel no less. I almost didn't want to install it, I just wanted admire it for as long as possible. This exhaust has a nice mellow sound to it and is not obnoxious in the least. I am very satisfied with my purchase from Moss Motors.

One little problem I had was the exhaust banging on the body once it warmed up. No one else has had this problem, in my case it may have been caused from a rear end accident. I fixed the problem by removing one of the tow hooks underneath and the problem was fixed.

Stainless, large-bore, catback exhaust with resonator, muffler and tip.

Product arrived within one week of ordering (ground shipment). Super high quality. The finish is gorgeous. You can shave in it. The price is amazing. This product seems to go on holiday sale each year. I first saw it last year, and waited patiently until it came on sale again. It lists for $350 (a good price) but goes on sale for $280 (an amazing price). If you want the lower price, you need to order before the New Year or wait patiently. Mechanic reported no problem with the installation. I took it to a mechanic because I wanted to have my cat inspected (153,000 miles on a 1990). Sure enough, the cat was bad so I installed a big-bore, high-performance (i.e., louder) cat as well. If not for the cat work, I would have bolted it on myself -- it looks easy to do. It looks really good on the car. With the top up, it tends to boom on the highway -- although I attribute a lot of that to the race cat (note, I intend to turbocharge in the near future -- which I expect will lower the sound a bit). It is a deep sound, not raspy or rattly. I just drove it with the top down. Amazing. Perfect. Puts a big-time smile on your face. Makes you press the "go" pedal harder. May be bad for your driver's license. I'm not going to speculate on power gains as I haven't dynoed the car. I expect that this product will help spool-up time on my future turbo project.

Gorgeous 304 stainless steel cat-back exhaust system.

First off was to lift the car up on jack stands and spray the nuts down liberally with wd-40. Old exhaust came off with no trouble at all save the O2 sensor. Man was that thing a pain to get off. New exhaust slipped right in but the gaskets that came with the unit were the same size and one fit but the other took a little modification to fit on the catalytic converter flange. Don't ask your but niether fit so I had to elongate the bolt holes. Other than that it did take 2 hours to put on but hey I was working in the dark.

The sound of the unit when the vehicle is cold is as quiet as stock but when the unit warms up it really comes to life. Sound is a little loud on hills and on long commutes but I like it. Very happy with the purchase and it was on sale for 300.00 after shipping all the way out here to West Texas.

This is a really nice piece of stainless steel polished muffler and tail pipe. Looks nice and fits perfectly.

Received this product from Moss motors on sale and on time. Including a new crush washer and freight it cost 232.00 delivered. I had a local mechanic install it as I could not lossen the old muffler nuts. It took him 20 minutes for the whole job and he commented on the quallity of the product.

Looks good and sounds good, except some might feel it's too quiet at idle..Nice throaty sound when getting on the throttle...I just had this installed so further running will be required...hope it will get a little louder with time. Too loud makes every day running a chore.

Stainless Steel Muffler/Tailpipe Assembly

I purchased this muffler from Moss Motors a few weeks ago for my 2001 base-model MT Miata. It arrived two days later in perfect condition. Took about twenty minutes to install, with help from the "blue wrench" and a fresh exhaust gasket (not included with product).

Muffler fits well and sounds great! Definitely louder than stock with the top down. Not boomy or ricey, and hardly noticeable with the top up (a good thing on a long trip!). I've had a few other Miata drivers pull up beside me in traffic and compliment me on the sound. I had considered adding an aftermarket intake, but this set-up is as loud as these 46 year-old ears want to go! If I had to pick nits, I wouldn't mind if the rolled, double-wall tip were an inch smaller in diameter, but that's it. Overall, very satisfied with the product and the service from Moss.

This is complete Stainless Steel Cat-Back exhaust system, including mid-pipe

I installed this product about a week and a half ago to replace an old Ansa muffler. I was skeptical of this product because it is relatively inexpensive, and not as well known a name as Borla, Ansa etc.

First and foremost this is a GORGEOUS PRODUCT! All T-304 polished stainless steel. Even the flanges are SS. It is so pretty that it is a shame to see it dissapear completely behind the rear bumper skin. The large 4-Inch outlet pipe is attractive without being "over the top boy racer". All in a flawless mirror finish. Now to the sound. I would say this is somewhere between stock and Borla. I had the Borla Cat Back duals on a 97 NA and found it too be a bit loud and droany for long commutes. This Cobalt system is very mild at idle,....but definetly lets you and anyone around you know that this is a performance oriented exhaust system. The sound is very good, and sounds like a proper sports car, not a street racer. There is a bit of burble when down shifting too, that is just right. This system sounds right, and fits right too. Just be sure to remind Moss to include the bung-plug if your year car does not have an O2 sensor in the mid-pipe. Overall I am VERY pleased with this! product, and highly recommend it.

1.2 mm thick 304 stainless steel, 404 stainless used for inner core and and tubing, 4" exhaust tip. 5 Year Warranty

Let the mechanic install it and I could have done it easily... Wanted one that was louder than stock, but not TOO loud. Got exactly what I wanted, Sounds loud under overpasses in the car, but I let someone else drive it while I sat and listened. Just what I was looking for. The Stainless is easy to clean, if you can get to it!

Highly recommmend, if you just want slightly louder than stock. Been on a couple of months and tone has not changed. Just can get low enough to clean the beauty.
