Harness to install running lights

GREAT!!!

The instructions were worth the $20.00. If you are going to install the twilight lights, make sure you get as long of a section of the red wire as possible. Make sure you cut it in the middle. With the tight space the short wires on the drivers side are difficult to hold in the connector while you crimp it. I cut the wire a bit short on the drivers side and it took me about 30 minutes to be able to make the connection correctly, and I was afraid I was going to have to find a new connector. Using the experience I gained from the drivers side, it took me less than 60 seconds to connect the passenger side. A very simple installation. I am in Florida. I ordered the part on Sunday received it on Thursday...great service.

Daytime running lights that operate with the ignition switch, giving all-the-time front running lights with no worry about forgetting to turn them off. This simple and easy-to-install product gives additional safety while calling more attention to the neatest little roadster this side of Mars. Team Miata was very helpful with their instructions.

I am not an electrician, but this simple set of wires (total cost, including shipping is $24) is easy to install and a great improvement. Installation is 30 min., more or less. I think the instructions are worth as much as the great idea product. They were easy to follow and thorough. Caution If you decide to install these lights for your front amber parkers, you do not have parking lights in the front when you are parked along a road unless you turn on your ignition switch. Not to worry. Team Miata includes instructions on how to add "TwiLight" lights to your front cluster by spending under $15 at your nearest Pep Boys. These additional TwiLights serve as front parking lights that work with the rest of your side and back lights that respond to the regular switch on the steering wheel. And theseTwiLight lights (installed as stock lights on European Miatas) fill the light housing completely while retaining the stock look of the car.

As Team miata says, the hardest part of this installation job is working under the headlights. But if you remove the black plastic headlight housing (four screws), it makes the job a lot easier. I checked with another company that sells these daytime running lights, but they sell their twilights separately. Team Miata includes twilight instructions free with your daytime running lights. You can do this! Low expense, high improvement, and much self pride.

Daytime running lights wiring kit. It Provides automatic running lights without using the light switch or worrying about a dead batery.

I ordered this product and a couple of days later I received a small box containing a wiring harness and some flexible wire wrap hose and a sheet of instructions. My first thought was 'Oh, God, what am I about to do?!?'. My fears were unfounded. The instructions we detailed and exact. I had absolutely no trouble following them.

Installation of the harness is simple and straight forward requiring only a few normal tools. The whole process took me about 45 minutes but would've taken longer if I had no accidentally used the cutting portion of my wire tool instead of the crimper forcing me to redo one of the two write connections.
