Brainstorm Big Brake kit.

Installed one week ago.

Front Bradi drilled/slotted 10.6 inch rotors, rear 10 inch Brembo drilled/slotted rotors, front Wilwood forged four piston calipers, SS lines front and rear, front Hawk and rear Axxis pads. Rear calipers retained to keep parking brake function. Fits most 15 inch wheels without spacers. Rotors are cadmium plated--cad quickly wears down on swept area of rotor leaving bright metallic surface, but protects non-swept area from rust. I purchased kit mostly for appearance through open-spoke Borbet type S wheels, and they do look great. I'm not sure performance in street driving will be improved, since tire adhesion is probably rate-limiting step. Pedal was initially squishy, and pads noisy, until pads seated and cadmium wore down (50-100 miles). Still a little noise now, but rapidly improving, and pedal is noticeably firmer than stock. I'm pleased.

BSP 10.6 4pc Big Brake Kit fits 15 inch wheels with no spacers required! Includes: Wilwood Dynalite 4 piston calipers (front) - Uses existing rear calipers - Hawk HPS brake pads (front) - Stainless steel brake lines DOT approved (front & rear) - Axxis Ultimate brake pads (rear) - 10.6in High quality drilled/slotted, silver CAD plated rotors (front) - 10in drilled/slotted BREMBO, silver Cad plated rotors (rear) / 1990-1993 cars will require 1.8 rear brake brackets. Other brake kits available for use with larger wheels.

I live close to BRAINSTORM so I chose to have them do the install. As always there team is very helpful. The brake kit and brake lines bolted right up with no problems. There is a lot less fade than with the OEM set-up. The combination of the Hawk pads on the front and the Ultimates on the rear makes for more even braking and when you really need to stop, you stop.

If you want to keep your stock 15 inch wheels as I did (I have the 15 inch ENKEI alloy wheels that came with my STO Edition) and you still want a performance brake system than this is the way to go. Also, you will loose about 3 pounds of unsprung weight at each front corner. This kit makes braking fun.
