I found a high power replacement battery for the Miata...(That Fits) It`s a Pro-Volt that you can get at Summit Racing. It`s specs are 1100cca/50ah,33 lbs, brass terminals,-40 to 140 temp rated, deep cycle rated,2 year full replacement. Its measurements are 7.79"long,6.54"wide,6.73"high.The only mod I had to do was to remove one of the end brackets on the top clamp but it fits perfect.PT# PVT-890000 and yes it uses the same dry cell tech as the stock battery. In fact you don`t have to vent it.

I was getting tired of the weak stock Miata battery and it just about dying everytime I left my car parked for more than 3 days. After the install the car turns over like it is supposed to not like a hot high compression big block.I am very satisfied with this battery and the power it has.I can leave my stereo on for more than a half an hour without worrying my car wont start.

It`s a great "high power" alternative for the Miata.

Under 30 minutes to remove completely
