leather wrap for steering wheel
i got the black one to match my interior and installation is pretty involved. i used the supplied needle to sew the ends the best i could. at the T-bar parts of the steering wheel one must get a little creative with the sewing.
didn't take as long as i thought. looks great and feels great. i definitely like the meatier, thicker grip now.

Ordered mine in black, but they are available in several colors (red, tan, et cetera). It's basically a wide strip of leather that wraps around the steering wheel and mounts by way of a thin leather thread that ties the sides together.
Well, the leather used to make the cover isn't exactly top-notch Gucci wallet material if you know what I am getting at. On the other hand, it's bounds ahead of those $15 covers they try to sell you at Wal-mart. It does look and feel like leather -- I'd classify it under "agreeable". Installation is actually pretty involved, since you have to basically sew the whole thing together using a needle (included). Count on finishing in an hour..
I like it. It has a pleasant look & feel to it and matches the interior perfectly. The only weak link might be my stitch work, so I'll wait and see how that holds up. :)
