Windblocker

Windblokker With instructions, it's easy to install. It required tightening up the nuts at the joints because the screen would not stay up after installation. To do that, I had to remove the black plastic caps that covered the nuts. After tightening things up, it worked well. The boot went on fairly easy and he top went up with the screen up.

For the price, you can't beat it. The screen netting is a little ragged in finish. It does its job, well, though.

Like an Oris, but alot cheaper.

Easy to install. Had to get instructions emailed to me (they were not in the box). Result is drastic reduction in wind buffeting and noise.

This is sold for $22. It works great. Are there other windblocks that work better? I doubt it. Are there other windblocks that are cheaper? Not possible. Raceland wins this one.

Fold up mesh style wind blocker

I must say, I love this product! First things first, it is dirt cheap (runs about $40), but the bargain price doesn't mean it's a low quality piece of junk. While it is true the fit and finish is not perfect, the quality is still far ahead of its selling price. I own a 1996 with the cockpit brace and the blocker mounts behind it. It does touch the bar, and I believe as a result, it doesn't sit as high as it was intended to, but it still does the trick. On the colder days and night time top down driving, this product works like a charm. You can roll up the windows and pop up the blocker and it really does calm the interior down. Great for making calls, talking to your passenger, listening to music, etc. Wind does slip under the blocker when it's raised all the way, but I just put a rolled sweater there in case it bothers me. Very highly recommended if you're in the market, and to be honest, I just don't see why people would pay 5x more for similar blockers that don't reall! y offer 5x more value.

Oris Styled Windblocker - mounts behind the seats using the bolts for the snaps that are normally used on the soft top boot.

Installed in less than 5 minutes. No installation instructions included, but once it was sitting on the deck it was obvious how it was intended to be installed. Very light and solidly constructed. I drove around town and the radio was much cleaner sounding. I went on the highway and found almost no backlash from the wind. The top of my head was getting ruffled by the air, but other than that... very tranquil in the cabin. Be aware tho - when being passed by an oncoming semi going at speed - you will notice a huge buffet in air .... I am guessing it will come as a surprise.

Yes with it installed, the top is a bit more difficult to operate. Yes with it you have a very slight obstructed view to the rear. Yes the soft boot still works. Yes it does fold down if you have the top up. It works - pure and simple - the best money I have spent so far on this fun little car.
