This is a 6 1/2" replacement door speaker. I had just purchased a new CD head unit and the factory speaker had to go.
I had to fashion a rain shield out of some 1 gal. milk cartons. I hot glued then on. I also had to drill a couple of new mounting hole since the factory mounts only take 3 hole. None of this was a big deal.
These were very inexpensive 2 way speakers. I bought them at Best Buy. They sounded as good as any $100 speakers at the place. They were inexpensive $39.00 and have a tweeter that swivels. They sounded great in the store and I knew I wanted to be able to redirect the highs towards my ears, not my knees. Man do they sound good in the car. My son's got $400 worth of speaker in his Nissan and they don't sound any better.
Under 30 minutes to remove completely
