303 Convertible Top Cleaner and Fabric Guard + Aerospace Protect

I purchased the items as a kit, however they are available seperately. The kit consists of one spray bottle of Convertible Top Cleaner (I have the cloth top cleaner but it's available for vinyl) and one bottle of fabric guard (again for my cloth top). Both products come with sprayers and directions.

I followed the directions and cleaned the top with the cleaning agent first by wetting the top and spraying on the cleaner followed by a brushing with a soft bristled brush. There was foaming action as I brushed. I had used a lint roller before cleaning to remove fibers, etc. from the black top. I rinsed thoroughly and allowed the top to dry in the sun. I then applied the protectant with the spray bottle to cover all of the fabric on the top. The directions state to remove the overspray quickly and I found that it is a little hard to get off glass, etc. if you wait too long. I wiped quickly with a damp cloth. Again, I allowed the protectant to dry thoroughly. About a week later, I washed the car and was amazed at how well the water beaded up on the fabric top. Previously, water had seemed to slightly saturate the fabric although I had not noticed it penetrating into the interior at all. The protectant is also supposed to help avoid damage from UV.

I have been well satisfied with all of the 303 products I have used. I use the 303 Aerospace protectant on interior and exterior trim, kayaks, spa covers and any other outdoor plastics and vinyl. I have found that the best way to apply is with some sort of lint free applicator such as microfiber or similar, other wise you get some spotting from the spray. Although kind of expensive, I am really pleased with the performance and durability of the products I have used. It has only been about a month on the top treatment so I can't attest to the longevity but the instructions say it can last up to 3 yrs. although I think the FL sun will break it down quicker. All in all, highly recommended!

General protectant that works on rubber, vinyl, dashboards, etc.

This stuff went on easily. Wipes up easily. I put some on my tires almost two weeks ago and I can still tell it's there. But it's not glossy like Armor All. That's fine with me. Gloss=dust. The best part about it is I can get it from the local boaters world.

Throw out your Armor All and get some of this stuff. It looks natural, and lasts a lot longer.

303 Aerospace Protectant

Non-petrolium based protectant for interior and exterior leather, vinyl, rubber, and leather.

I was looking for a product that does not contain a "glazing agent" as specified in my owners manual. I came upon this wonderful product that claims to provide a non-greasy satin finish with SPF 40 sublock. I have used it for several months on the dash, steering wheel, seats, door and roof seals and boot of my 2003 Miata. The finish is great, I can clean/protect the entire interior with no greasy feeling on my hands. The finish looks just as good as when I bought the car but without the glossy glare created by Armorall.

This product has significantly improved the appearance of my vehicle. If the claims about the spf 40 sunblock are true, this will prevent my dash, boot, and leather seats from fading and cracking when left in the sun. Free samples of this product are available on the manufacturer' website.

303 Protectant

*EXCELLENT* and the *BEST* product ever found. With UV protectant and it's shine, it will keep your vinyl looking new for years to come. I've only had to apply it twice this summer and it's still shining. Great stuff!

Tip on savings: Shop the marine or aircraft supply stores for the best buys. =)

303 Convertable Top Cleaner/ 303 Aerospace Protectant

Used these products for the first time on my plastic window. UNBELIEVEABLE results!

So I don't bury the lead... in 2 words... "THE BEST"! Just got my 93C Roadster about 10 days ago and have been surfing Miata.com every night since. reading everything my old brain can absorb. 25 years ago I was the proud owner of a 73 MGB and about the only rag top product that anyone was using was Armorall. I was never happy with the results but had to use what was available at the time. I read a few comments about 303 Products and began surfing the net. Found a site for a distributor http://www.303products.com/home.htm. As soon as I received it I ran outside to tried it out on my plastic window. Although my top was obviously well taken care of by the PO, the window was smokey, had minor scratches, and would not clean up. I sware on all that is sacred, this stuff cleaned that plastic so well it actually looks like glass. It was astounding! Tomorrow the top. I can't believe this product was not one of the topics already posted. So you heard it first from me... Happy Miating
