It's just another clay bar system with the spray bottle included.
It definitely takes a good 15 minutes to get used to "cleaning" the surface with this product (ie. how much solution to spray on, and when to wipe off excess) It is easy to actually put smudges on the car if you hit a dry spot. my black miata was detailed by the dealer 6 days ago (when I bought it) so it already looks like a mirror. I didn't know what to expect other than what the other reviews were saying. But after seeing no results beyond what my fresh wash and chammy dry did, I was about to quit and kiss of 10 bucks. Then i felt the treated surface and the untreated side. The treated side was noticeably smoother. So much so that I decided to spend a half an hour to finish the job. Was it worth 10 bones and some time? I dont know - the wax job afterwards might look just as good and be just as functional without the claybar, but I wanted as clean a surface as possible for my miata, and if you think like that too, then it will be worth it.
Because this kind of detailing is so new, I think they should include more details of exactly how to best use this product to avoid the frustration and wasted time that I did.

Clay Bar, Detailing mist (used as lubricant), & polymer wax. $20 thru mail order.
Incredible. Does everything it says it will.
I've been a wax & polish junkie for quite some time now. I've tried almost everything out there, but this really opened my eyes. Any brand will do, just go out & get some. Ihave a silver car & keep it very well polished, but was very surprised to see how much scum came out. Your car will be creamy smooth afterwards. Easier to use then cleaners & body scrub. You have to wax afterwards. It will be considerably easier since the surface is so well prepped, i.e. very very clean.
