Chromed plastic sleeves that fit over the mirrors, they are held by strips of gorilla snot (3m tape). Like most things held by that adhesive it is possible to remove the product easily but its a pain to get the adhesive off of the item. Dont see why you'd ever want to remove these though.
The product fits better than i thought it would, I had yet to find something that truly fit perfectly around an oem product but this one does. Really brightens the exterior and covers the plastic part of the mirror that tends to fade after a couple years. I liked this product very much.
Overall I love it, if theres one thing i would have wanted is that the mirror be held by more strips of adhesive than whats currently there...I think currently they only have 3 strips, i would have wanted the whole thing lined with adhesive personally. i was a bit paranoid the first couple drives that the thing would fall off and get smashed by the car behind me. but its held up so far. The chrome is flawless and accentuates a once unsightly area.
