OEM mask for 2001 Miata LS
Fits pretty well.
I purchased the OEM Miata Mask instead of the after market masks based on the feedback from others that the non-OEM masks did not fit properly. Even though my top is tan and the OEM only seems to come in black, I preferred to be safe and a little mismatched than sorry. The OEM mask looks good. It took about 40 minutes for two people to install (who did not know what they were doing). Except for a slight bit of gapping on the sides, it fits really well and I would recommend it for a good fitting bra.

Mazda black nose mask.
No brainer to install. Have to swing the wheels in and out and remove a few of the wheel well fasteners but other than that, no problem at all. And it's compatible with the high flow grill.
This is a must for any highway driving. Had my M2 for a month and have already picked up a small nose divet so this was a must. With the mask installed I can now confidently ease onto the highway with no fear of taking road debris head on.

The Miata nose bra comes with hardware that provides easy installation of snaps in the wheeel well (a 20 minute easy installation). The actual mask is a two piece affair - one that effectively covers all exposed areas of the nose, and another that covers the forward portion of the hood.
While I did not purchase this for its looks, it certainly does not detract from the appearance of the car, and in fact looks a bit snazzy. The first time you put the mask on will take about 15 minutes just to get the hang of where all the snaps and hooks go. When I first put the mask on, it seemed like it was way too small, and I was amazed at the amount of stretching that was required to get all the snaps and hooks lined up properly. After a couple of dressings and undressings, it now takes me exactly five minutes to either install it or remove it, working at a leisurely pace. It also takes less effort to stretch the material after the first couple of installations. I tend to struggle a bit undoing the wheel well snaps, since pulling them off takes more effort than snapping them on - and the wheels crowd the working pace (I haven't tried doing it with the wheels turned, and that may help!).
The Miata bra (nose mask) is a smart investment, in my opinion. The protected area, from the nose to about a third of the way to the windshield, is substantial enough to provide real protection from road debris. The five minute investment to install the mask is certainly worth it before a long road trip, especially with all the non-mudflapped pickups and SUVs on the road. I highly recommend this product to anyone wishing to minimize the effect of high-speed particle impact on the painted nose of their Miata.

OEM nose bra that does not interfere with barndoors
I've always liked the look of these bras on cars. and it does a great job of protecting the front from road debris. installation was pretty easy; just takes a while to find the places for the hooks.
the miata logo really looks cool! and it looks good on my white Miata w/black top.

Black nose bra for Miata.
Nice looking and fairly easy to install. Had a little of a tough time finding a place for the top hooks to fasten on to inside headlamp area.
Nice tight fit. Looks good with Miata logo on front. Very pleased. I was looking for the function of the bra only but it looks good as well.
