Two piece hard boot made of molded fiberglass.
Product was obtained from Warren Thompson who is a distributor for Scarab products. The product is a bit flimsey and required some modifications. Installed as is, the deck would flap a bit at higher speeds as there is a large space between the top of the deck cover and the car interior. Also the front L flanges slip under the seat belt holder but are not bolted although the flanges do have holes. To firm up the deck I drilled self tapping screws thru these holes and into the car. I also attached a piece of wood to the deck with screws to fill the space between the deck and the car interior. These modifications of course make it more difficult to dis-assemble the deck on short notice. I therefore check the weather radar before venturing out.
The deck looks very good and I painted it to match my custom paint job. I would not recommend it to folks who live in wet climes (I live in Florida so have lots of sunshine and somewhat predictable rain.) I bought the Scarab as it is the only deck I have found that is high enough to clear the new zipperless glass top I had installed. These tops do not lie flush with car.
