Bolt in cockpit brace fitted between the upper seatbelt mounting points. Fitted as standard on later M1's.
Well finished, sturdy piece, significantly lower cost than a new OEM part. The spacer washers supplied were too large for a good fit on the bolt,they were .590" bore as opposed to .440" - I machined up a set of steel spacers which matched the hole size of the OEM spacers.
The brace stops some of the behind the seat rattles and does not interfere with the use of hard or soft tops. Also acts as a stop for anything on the rear shelf joining the driver under braking. Apart from the minor inconvenience of the spacers I'm happy with the product.
