Replacement rubber shock boots. These only cost $10.66, quite a bit cheaper than the stock boots ($18 from Roebuck).
They look nothing like the stock boots- they're much smaller and shorter (too short to even reach the 'tang' on the shock like the stock ones), and requires tie-wraps to install. The bump-stop portion is of the same lenght as the stock, but differently shaped and smaller in dia. The worse offense is they don't even have the steel bushing on top! they're supposed to stay top of the shock shaft through force fit and rubber friction alone.
Luckily the store made a mistake & only sent me two boots. Straight to the trash can after a brief struggle. This really detracts from the excellent AGX shocks from the same manufacturer. Don't let the savings tempt you: leave these ill-fitting generic garbage alone.
