plastic window protector
I took the time to actually drive to a number of places here in California to look at the products I wanted before I began to buy. I chose this one because it is the best one I saw. Well conceived, well executed. It has done what I expected it to do- protect my window. The only problem I have with it is when I drive with the top up and the window down. The backdraft tends to blow the cover up exposing the window. I think I can fix that by adding some Velcro along the back side.

Deluxe red vinyl window protector
I got this in red vinyl; but not so red, more a streaky finish. Still, nicely made, snaps line up well, velcro on envelope a nice touch to stop it billowing up on those rare occasions I drive with both windows down and the hood up.
Protector for plastic rear window when top is down $44.95 from Brainstorm
Pro: Super-simple to install in my 94, quality material. Velcro keeps the two sides together when not sandwiching your rear window.
Con: back edge retains folds and creases too easily. After a few uses, one of the corners was permanently creased upward, probably because it was crushed in that position by normal lowering of the roof.
