Gorgeous looking pedal covers from Mazdaspeed. I believe these are OEM item for the Mazdaspeed MX-5s. The set includes the silver and black covers for the accelerator, brake, clutch, and dead pedals with hardware and instructions.

While looking great and offering a heel-and-toe friendly design, the installation is real pain in the a$$. You will need an allen key (I forgot the size), a 7mm socket, Robertson #2 screw driver (with a square head to be fitted into a square hole on the screw head), and a hook tool to install these. The real problem is the brake and clutch pedals. These have a solid plastic surface with rubber backing. Picture rubber pedal covers with solid plastic plate glued on the surface. You are supposed to fit the rims of the rubber backing over the back side of the pedal so that the rubber part will wrap around the pedal. This is a very hard task because the solid plastic surface won't let the piece flex. You will definitely need a hook tool to maneuver this but expect to spend a long time to complete this installation. In order to install the dead pedal, if you want to use the supplied flat-head screws (which look very sharp), you'll need a Robertson #2 ! screw driver.

I think these pedal covers were intended to be installed by a dealer. This must be the reason why they require an unusal tool, such as a Robertson screw driver. Probably due to this reason, the instructions are not very through. Despite the difficulty in the installation, the pedals look gorgeous and work really well to heel-and toe. Just expect to spend a long time with your head stuck in the footwell before you order a set.

Under 30 minutes to remove completely
