When I couldn't locate the tube type window protector which is sold for about $20.00, I decided to improvise. On short trips (grocery store, work, etc), instead of unzipping my rear window and using my vinyl window protector, I went to Wal Mart and bought a noodle (long flotation device about 2 1/2 inches in circumference, used by little kids at swimming pools), for under $2.00. I cut it down to size in about 4 seconds and I've used it all summer - it's great - no scratching, sticking or creased windows! All for under $2.00!
