Applicable to: '99 + 1.8 liter

Kenne Bell Twin Screw Supercharger with 6lb boost pulley installed. Also included their fuel/spark optimizer,larger fuel injectors,wiring looms,hose clamps,mega stainless steal fasteners and everything else needed to install.(Had some extra bits to allow for errer)It even had gasket maker/sealer and antiseize.

First thing, I opened the box,checked out the bits to see that it was all there. Pulled the Instructions and closed the box for a week. Anyway installation was straight forward and the instructions worked for me. As with all instructions,I first see how they tell me to complete a step and then if I don't like the way a hose/wire is routed ,I try to make it cleaner. I worked 5 nights for 3+ hours each to complete the install. It turned out very clean and factory looking. I started it and took it for a mellow buzz down the street and the power was right there but at idle it was rough. I called the tech line for guidance and asked if they ever experienced the rough idle thing. I was told to check for vacuum leaks.I found that I didnt make a good seal at the thottlebody to charger connection. Never assume that your parts are going have a perfect fit to new parts that fit many other cars, MY FAULT. After I corrected it, The car purrs and screams.

I am very happy with my purchase. I did alot of research and found this supercharger to have the best power/tq at all RPMs.(Nice flat torque line accross the chart) If I wanted lag before power I would have gone turbo. The Kenne Belle Co. was very helpful before, during and after purchase. I love the way this thing pulls now,but if I get the itch again, I'll upgrade pulley with intercooler.

Over 30 minutes to remove completely
