Pit Crew Racing Clubman stainless steel cat-back exhaust system from Japan. Two-piece system consists of a straight mid-pipe and a rear muffler section. The single rear muffler is oval shaped and has twin chrome tips. This muffler doesn't turn sideways under the trunk like the factory system, instead it exits the rear bumper just left of center. This is pretty much a straight thru system with minimal bends. The pipes are 50mm internal diameter, flanged and everything is bolt together. Welds are beautiful and piping has brushed finish. Clears my Flyin' Miata Skip Cannon rear subframe brace with ease but I needed to fabricate a bracket that uses the same mounting studs as the tie down hook to hold the rear muffler section in place.
Very expensive new - retail price in Japan is ¥89,250 which is approximately $800 US. Coming from the stock exhaust system this one seems a bit louder than most other performance exhaust systems. The straight through design gives the car a healthy bark on startup and sounds like a Spec Miata racer at full throttle. It backfires occassionally on high rpm 1-2 upshifts and has a cool sounding burbble on deceleration. It does drone on the highway at steady speeds so earplugs are necessary for long trips. Blasting through tunnels is amazing and gives a nice tingling sensation. Could benefit from a resonator to tone things down a bit but very well built and beautiful system. Good for people who want to be noticed and want a rare JDM exhaust from a boutique manufacturer that will last forever. Dare to be different, try Pit Crew Racing.
Loud, high-performance, different, beautiful build quality. What to do with the now vacant exhaust cutout in the rear bumper? Stuff it with a Zoom Engineering rear fog or reverse lamp!

This is an all stainless steel exhaust system from Japan, it is made by the PitCrew Racing company.
The product is of the highest quality, all highly polished stainless steel, nice smooth welds. This exhaust makes a large increase in bottom end h.p. and good top end power. It is a straight thru design, the muffler exits left center, it has 2, 2 inch tips attatched to an oval muffler, minimal bends in the piping, so h.p. increases are noticable. Well worth the money if you want more power and a truely distictive look to set you apart form the crowd, and it's only available through the great people at www.rspeed.net
overall this is the best exhaust for the look, sound and power, forget the duals get the Pitcrew.
