Clear side markers to replce the ugle yellow and red factory markers
These in my opinion look great. Cleans up the front of the car alot. I have PIAA HID 194 bulbs in all the way around (I have done the rear marker light mod) to match the PIAA hid h4's.
Makes your miata srtand out in a crowd. You could also put different color bulbs in the corners (blue, red etc...) if you don't mind talking to the nice police officers every ten feet!

These lenses replace the yellow (front) and red (rear) lenses for the side marker light on your miata. Price for one set (either front or rear) $30.00 + 1 set of miniature yellow (or red) bulbs $2.99 [PEP BOYS]
The 'Clear marker lights' as Brainstorm calls them come with no directions. I was told that I would have to replace my white stock bulbs with yellow bulbs that I could 'purchase at any PEP Boys'. Removal of the stock lenses requires unfastening two screws and then gently prying the lens from the car. Mazda put a foam wrapper around the stock lens to keep it secure, so it can be difficult to get it out. Once the lens is separated from the body, just twist and pull the light housing to remove the lens from the car. The stock bulb just pulls out of the light housing. Installation is the reverse plug the new yellow or red bulb in the housing, push and twist it into the lens and attach it with both screws. Very simple.
While I really like the look of the clear marker lights on my 10th AE (I did only the front), I am not sure this product is really worth the price. The stock light housing did not fit into the lenses very well. I was unable to get the light as far into the lens as it really needed to go, so I am afraid that they may work themselves loose at some point. The new lenses are missing the foam around them to help secure them like the stock lenses. Also there are some gaps between the new lenses and the body of the car. While you have to look very carefully to see them, they are there. I would not say that I am happy with the product at the price, however I am really happy with the look of the lens on the car (except for the before mentioned gaps). At night they look like regular yellow side marker lights. During the day the front clear lenses blend in with the exposed head lights (on '99+ cars) and become much less noticeable, particularly if you have a dark colored car.
