Stainless steel halogen boot light. tilt switch control.
I ordered it from www.mx-5parts.co.uk . Cost me about GBP40 including shipping. I was not very happy when I received it because it did not come with any installation instruction. However, it is in fact very easy to install. No instruction is needed anyway. The end result is very very good. The 12V halogen bulb lights up the whole boot. The light ONLY switch on when the boot is open. I have confirmed that by connecting it to a battery and tilt it in every angle. Very good design and looks nice too, although it is normally well hidden from view. Recommend.
