The WebElectric Products DLD-1 Dome light dimmer adds a 20 second delay as well as a fadeout function. It is very similar to other products out there but it also offers an option to end the delay when the engine is started.
While the product doesn't come with specific instructions, it is fairly easy to hook up. It only uses 4 wires (+12V, GND, Door, IGN) and you don't have to cut or splice/solder into any of your existing wires. Quick connect splice taps are provided in the kit. You do have to figure out where to tap each of these signals though. Installation on cars with factory keyless remote is quite easy as all signals needed for this are readily available at the keyless remote connector.
Works great with the Moss Motors footwell lights. The delay starts when the door closes and having the delay stopped when the engine starts is a nice touch. I fully documented (with pictures) my install on an 03 with keyless remote and can provide it to those that are interested.
