Water/Oil heat exchanger type oil cooler
Excellent - works perfectly. Oil temps stay under 200 degrees, peaking at about 205 after an hour of hard driving, 4-5K rpm with ambient temp of 79 degrees. Before the oil temp would keep increasing, heading towards 225 degrees under same conditions.
A challenge to install on a 2003 because of room, but I was able to remove section of lower radiator hose and insert unit. I installed remote filter at same time using -10 SS braided hose and AL fittings from Aeroquip. Used Permacool filter mount and CM Billet AL oil filter.
Over 30 minutes to remove completely
