Replacement CAS (basically, a distributor-like electronic ignition component)

Installed 1 month ago. OEM unit failed after twenty years, probably in part from higher underhood temps from turbo. Units available for 1.8 miatas as well, but note that it's a completely different model.

Car suddenly idling very rough, occasionally stalling at idle. Problem traced to CAS. New OEM $600. Used OEM generally $100-200. Found this one on eBay for $200 new, sold by theimportexperts. They have 27,000 plus eBay transactions and a high approval rating, so I figured I'd take a chance. So far so good. Problem cured, car runs great, product shipped quickly. Device said to have better heat tolerance than OEM, and lifetime warranty (for what that's worth), so we'll see. Recommended

Under 30 minutes to remove completely
