Add-on control module that converts a *single* power window to auto-up and auto-down function. This is a relatively inexpensive (<$50) universal (all make/model) controller, but works fine in the Miata.

I used it to change my '95 Miata driver's window function to auto-full-up/down without modifying the factory switch. If an intermediate position is desired, just briefly press the switch the other way once the window is at the proper height. Installation was straightforward; I installed it in the area behind the vent/heater control/radio fascia for easy access to the power window switch wire harness by the shift lever. In addition to the supplied instructions, you will need to know the color of the Miata power window wire carrying the "window down/open" signal and the wire carrying the "window up/closed" signal; the module is spliced into these wires. You will also need to identify a good ground connection (I used the radio's ground), a source of +12V with enough amperage to power the window motor (I ended up extending the supplied fairly short wire to hook it up to the ignition switch's accessory wire), and have a good crimping tool and good quality! red and blue crimp connectors.

This is a great way to inexpensively convert one window to auto-up/down function. Because of the universal nature of the kit, you will have to research and decide the best installation location and wiring connection yourself.
