Dual plated & polished steel hydraulic hood lifts made by Bonrath in Germany and sold by various distributors (R-Speed in my case). These lifts hold the hood open - no more prop rod.
Requires drilling and tapping a thread into each hood hinge. Had my local garage do install for $40.00. Looks and works great. Just right for the car that has everything.
At $95.97 delivered plus $40.00 to install these are not for someone on a tight budget but if you like working (or just looking) under the hood or if you show the car the are perfect. Note - R-Speed did not include instructions with the parts and the instructions faxed to me were in serious need of revision.
Under 30 minutes to remove completely
