New design consisting of chrome and leather. Very beautiful piece. Shape is spherical, with a strip of leather (blue, red, yellow or blk) available. Compliments the interior, giving a more upscale appearance ala; BMW, Porsche, etc.
Very easy to install. Comes complete with bushing, and allen key. Took all of 1 minute to install. Love the M logo on the top. In my opinion the nicest shifter out there for the price. $30.00.

I received this as a gift. I was happy to get a shorter, rounder knob, but was quite disappointed with the piece. It is made of hard, shiny black plastic and had a few imperfections in it. The top (the inlay with the shift pattern) looked cheaper in person than in the pictures. I tried it in the car and was disappointed again. It is too light and vibrates constantly. It was impossible to screw it on firmly with the inlay facing the right direction. Plus, it was too short and left a good half-inch of the shift lever showing above the boot. I'll be returning it for sure.
The knob in question is in the MM Marketing catalog on page 11, picture B, with the letter G below it.
