The screen is 3/8" acrylic set in a powder coated black bottom bracket. The fixed base of the factory screen is reused to mount the unit so there are no mounting holes to drill. Installation is very simple. If you choose the illuminated version some wiring is required but all necessary parts are supplied along with illustrated instructions.

The windscreen is effective. I drove 2 miles North at 65mph then East, South and West at same speed to my starting point to compare wind direction issues. Turbulence was less in all directions but varied with direction. The screen height is limited by the PRHT mechanism or even better wind control would be possible

The is a very well built product. The mounting is well designed and does not vibrate. The only drawback for some would be it does not fold down, but on the flip side there aren't any storage issues.
